A Real Estate Agent You Can Trust
I’m Heather Baker. I was born in Orange County, California, I had the privilege of being raised in Tennessee since the age of four. My older brother, Jon, had a huge influence in my life; when he joined the military, I jumped at the opportunity and enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard at the age of 17. During the eight years of dedicated service, I went on deployment to Iraq in 2009-2010 for Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment as a sergeant, qualified as an expert rifleman with a M16A2 Rifle (I sure do love the smell of gunpowder in the morning), trained as a Logistics Specialist, and even drove a tank. All of which was exhilarating! The military embodied structure and conviction.
I met my husband, Shane, in 2007 while attending Tennessee Technological University. We have two beautiful children, Gavin and Harper. My interests include running, being outdoors, and racquetball. I am super competitive, so watch out if we ever play together. I also coach my children’s soccer team at The YMCA. I take pleasure in traveling, meeting new people, creating new experiences, cooking with my husband, and relaxing with a nice glass of wine.
My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Biology at Tennessee Technological University, Medical Laboratory Technologist at the University of Tennessee, and a licenced Realtor. I worked at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN and Cookeville Regional Medical Center for a total of 6 years. We moved back to Cookeville, TN in 2017 to be closer to family. Ready for a new challenge, I transitioned to Real Estate to do what I do best, help others. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors, and the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. My experiences taught the value of integrity, hard work, and persistence. Allow me to put my skills to good use by assisting you today with the exciting home buying and selling process.
